From 2003-2011, Joseph worked with cancer patients through the PeaceHealth Cancer Center in Bellingham, WA. Through the use of Subconscious Healing, Joseph has successfully assisted patients in overcoming an assortment of areas related to cancer. These areas include pain management, underlying emotional issues, physical healing, spiritual awakening and cancer itself.-

The closest historical analogy to the work I do is in the field of Clinical Hypnotherapy. Since the 1970's clinical studies have been conducted to determine the effects of Clinical Hypnosis used in cancer treatment. Various studies have shown that hypnosis can considerably reduce the pain associated with cancer. Other studies have found that hypnosis can significantly reduce anticipatory nausea and vomiting as well as diminish anxiety and fear about facing cancer. Institutions and journals that have published positive results include Stanford University, the University of Aberdeen Medical School (UK), the National Institutes of Health, the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Journal of the National Cancer Institute and many others.
